Diana began her career as a McDonald’s restaurant crew member in 1979, and rose to become Vice President of Training, Learning & Development for McDonald’s USA. In this role, she led all aspects of training and development including the restaurant training curriculum at Hamburger University, McDonald’s global training center of excellence. Her mission was helping to build the pride, culture and business results of McDonald’s USA by focusing on successful, consistent operations training systems and standards for all restaurant managers and crew employees. Under her leadership, McDonald’s USA was recognized as a Learning Elite Organization, ranked #2 by Chief Learning Officer magazine. Diana received the magazine’s Norman B. Kamikow Lifetime Achievement Learning Leadership Award in 2014. She is a past recipient of the prestigious McDonald’s President’s Award, representing the top 1% of McDonald’s employees; the Golden Arch Partner Award, which honors staff who have committed 25 or more continuous years of service to the company; and numerous regional and team awards. Diana is an Editorial Advisory Board member for Chief Learning Officer magazine, a faculty member for Media Tech’s CLO Accelerator Class, a Board Member for the National Diversity Council, and a past member of Tri-City Family Services’ Board of Directors and an Advisory Board Member for the American Council on Education. She is a Certified Marshall Goldsmith’s stakeholder Executive & Team Coach, and is working towards her goal of being a master certified coach with ICF (International Coaching Federation). She holds an MBA, a master’s degree in Human Resources Development and Business Management, and a BA in Education and Economics. Diana is married with two daughters, and enjoys spending time with family, focusing on health and wellness, and lifelong learning. More

He is a regular author, speaker, & moderator at organizations such as Human Capital Media, International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), and Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). Giving back to the community, he is a Young Life committee member, and was previously a board member for the Austin Leadership Forum and an examiner for the Ethics in Business Awards and the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award. He is also the founder of CampLIFE!, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, with a mission to provide for the families of deceased soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Tad Waddington is an Executive People Planning Partner with deep expertise in human capital measurement and quantitative analytics. Dr. Waddington is an internationally recognized expert in the causes and consequences of investing in human capital. He has over 20 years of experience applying his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in Measureme...nt, Evaluation, and Statistical Analysis to solving problems in human capital development and impact. For 15 years, he was Accenture’s Director of Performance Measurement and, prior to Accenture, a Gallup Research Director. Tad’s first book, Return on Learning, looked at the consequences of investments in human capital. The book grew out of his analysis of hard-endpoint data of over a 250,000 records that showed that Accenture’s return on investment (ROI) in training was 353%. His second book, Lasting Contribution, investigated the causes of human capital. A wide-ranging book that drew on everything from Tad’s mastery of ancient Chinese to a fine-grained analysis of Oprah’s shoes, the book has been translated into seven languages and won seven awards. Tad graduated Phi Beta Kappa and valedictorian from the Honors College at Arizona State University with a B.A. in Psychology. He then studied at Stanford’s Inter-University Program for Chinese Studies and received an M.A. from the Divinity School at the University of Chicago. Dr. Stacey Boyle is the CEO and Chief People Planner at Smarter People Planning.  She is recognized as a thought leader and expert in delivering human capital measurement solutions. She has over over 20 years’ experience with a focus on learning and development.  Dr. Boyle has served as the VP, Client Services at Vestrics, a predictive an...alytics company, where she designed, executed and delivered large strategic predictive analytics projects for corporate, government, and non-profit customers. As the VP, Research and Advisor Services for MediaTec Publishing Inc. she conceptualized, designed, and executed LearningElite benchmarking program recognizing world-class learning & development organizations. Dr. Boyle was VP, Client Services at Element K and director of blended learning services at SkillSoft. Additionally, she served as a practice director for Thomson NETg’s evaluation services. During her career, Boyle has served as a program evaluator for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration; a training evaluator for Andersen Consulting (Accenture); and a director of training for Platinum Technology (Computer Associates). She has taught a variety of courses, such as advanced statistical concepts, tests and measurement, and introduction to psychology. Boyle has numerous publications in the area of workplace learning. She holds a B.A. in psychology, an M.S. in psychometry and a Ph.D. in educational research and evaluation from Oklahoma State University. More
